One-off participating fee: RM200,000 for the principal application. No participating fee is imposed on dependants. Immigration processing fee: RM5,000 for the principal applicant and RM2,500 for each dependant.

After obtaining MM2H approval, up to 50% of the principal fixed deposit value may be withdrawn for permitted purposes including residential property purchase, education, medical expenses and tourism activities in Malaysia.

Platinum participants are required to purchase and own a residential property valued at RM2,000,000 or above after obtaining MM2H approval. The residence cannot normally be sold for 10 years, except when upgrading to a residence of higher value.

Eligible dependants include spouse, biological, step or adopted children below age 21, children aged 21 to 34 who are unemployed and single while in Malaysia, medically certified disabled children with no age limit, parents and parents-in-law. Platinum participants may also bring a foreign maid.

Business activities, investment activities and career opportunities are permitted under the Platinum Category, subject to applicable Malaysian laws and regulatory requirements.

The principal applicant and dependants are required to undergo the prescribed medical examination after receiving approval to participate in MM2H.

Platinum provides a 20-year renewable MM2H pass with Multiple Entry Visa. The actual validity endorsed is also subject to the validity of the participant's passport.
